Agri Risk Transfer LLC supports (re-)insurance companies, international agencies, cooperatives, governments, NGO’s and Insuretechs in various areas related to transferring the risks related to the agricultural crop and livestock production:

• Design of crop and livestock insurance policies, both parametric and indemnity based. With a strong focus on integrating locally available data, knowledge and agricultural practice.
• Calculating actuarially correct rates and tariffs, taking into account potential impacts of changes in climate, crop cultivars as well as farming practice.
• Shaping agricultural insurance schemes and pools, defining the best suitable insurance product and operational set-up, up to consulting on the appropriate re-insurance cover.
• Portfolio and product reviews as a re-underwriting excercise, putting forward possible product updates and portfolio optimisation options.
• Capacity development, equipping teams and individuals with the understanding and skills that enables them to design insurance products and operational procedures for underwriting and portfolio management.
• Identifying and implementing novel technologies and data sources to enhance underwriting/claims accuracy as well as client services.
