I founded Agri Risk Transfer LLC (GmbH, Sàrl) in Switzerland during Fall 2021, with the purpose of providing services around transferring agricultural production risks (weather risks, pests, livestock diseases….)

• Making aricultural insurance better understandable, accessible, and better fitting to the needs of the farmers.
• Aligning the interests of all players in the risk transfer chain.
• Being aware that insurance can only be the last resort. Risk avoidance and mitigation come first.
• Acknowledging that the value of a healthy soil cannot be overestimated.
• Taking an holistic view on agriculture and supporting whole systems thinking.
